DONATE
WOULD YOU LIKE TO DONATE TO THE FOOD BANK?
The Food Bank relies entirely on donations of food from people who live and work in the Haslemere area and around so even the smallest donation of food is gratefully received. It works on the ethos that, while you are shopping in the supermarket, you might think of buying a few extra items to give to someone who is, for whatever reason, temporarily unable to buy enough food to feed themselves and their family.
If you would like to donate food you should take it to one of the collection points listed below:

Please be aware that the Food Bank has no facility for storage of fresh food or perishable foods which need refrigeration. Below is a list of the types of food which are needed. Every month a list is issued to Collection Points of those items on the list which are running low and those which the Food Bank has a glut of currently. This list is displayed at your local Collection Point.
Please do not donate any foods which are beyond their sell-by date, or packets/jars which have been opened, as the Food Bank cannot distribute these.
Please also consider that many of the people who use the Food Bank come on foot or by bus and have to carry the food packs home. A pack for a family usually consists of about 4 heavy bags. For this reason, we ask that big family packs of products are not donated as these are difficult to carry and may mean that other essential items have to be excluded from the pack.
